Communications and network infrastructure

We build the network infrastructure that runs both your office and your security systems: structured cabling, fiber optics, enterprise Wi-Fi and server rooms.

The network as a foundation

Today it is not just computers that run on the network. IP cameras, access controllers, Wi-Fi access points, IP telephony, automation and building monitoring systems all depend on the cabling infrastructure. If it is poorly designed, everything suffers.

Structured cabling system

A structured cabling system is an organized cabling infrastructure of work-area outlets, horizontal links, patch panels and backbones. We design structured cabling with spare ports and capacity, choose the cable category for the job and install links while observing bend radii and clearances from power cables.

Fiber is used for backbones between floors and buildings and to remote cameras on site. We handle installation, fusion splicing, fiber patch panel mounting and attenuation measurements with test reports.

Server rooms and network cabinets

We set up server rooms and network cabinets with neat cable management, UPS, ventilation and labeling. Every port is labeled and matches the documentation, so any link can be traced in a minute.

Enterprise Wi-Fi

Before installation we carry out a wireless site survey and calculate coverage and capacity so the network handles the load in meeting rooms and halls. We set up roaming, guest networks and separate segments for equipment.

Testing and documentation

We test every copper and fiber link with certification testers and hand over test reports, a cable schedule and diagrams. This is the basis for the warranty and future maintenance.

FAQ

Network FAQ

Which cable category should I choose for structured cabling?

For new office networks, Cat 6 or Cat 6A is the usual choice: they leave speed headroom for years to come and support powering cameras and access points over PoE. Backbones between floors and buildings are best built on fiber.

Why test cabling links?

Testing confirms that every link meets its stated category. The test report is a document that protects the client and is required for the cabling manufacturer's warranty.

Do you design Wi-Fi for large spaces?

Yes. We carry out a wireless site survey, calculate the number and placement of access points, and set up roaming and separate networks for guests and equipment.
