A design is not a formality
A good design determines whether the system will work when it is needed. It sets out the location of every device, cable routes, power, the interaction logic between systems and the equipment specification. It is what the system is installed, commissioned and maintained by for years.
What we design
- Fire protection: fire alarm, voice alarm and evacuation, smoke extraction and pressurization, automatic fire suppression, internal fire hydrant systems.
- Security: access control, video surveillance, intruder alarm, perimeter protection.
- Low-voltage networks: structured cabling, fiber optics, public address, building monitoring.
What a detailed design includes
- an explanatory note justifying the solutions with references to the codes;
- floor plans showing equipment locations and cable routes;
- block and schematic diagrams;
- system interaction logic (cause-and-effect matrix);
- loop, power and battery capacity calculations, plus airflow and hydraulic calculations for smoke control and fire suppression;
- equipment and materials specification and cost estimate documents.
Engineers who design know installation
Our designers work alongside installers and commissioning engineers. That is why our designs reflect real conditions: how a cable route can be run, where service access will be, how the system will behave during commissioning. For Siemens and Esser systems we design to the manufacturers' methods as certified engineers.
Approval support and designer supervision
We support the design through approvals, respond to review comments and provide designer supervision during installation, so the system is installed as intended.
