When off-the-shelf equipment is not enough
The market offers thousands of controllers and modules, yet sites regularly present tasks they cannot handle: connecting legacy equipment to a new system, getting data from a device with a non-standard interface, building a compact device for a specific scenario. That is when we develop our own solution.
What we do
- Controllers that drive relays, sirens, signs and locks with custom logic.
- Protocol gateways between RS-485/Modbus, Ethernet, MQTT and web services.
- Monitoring devices: temperature, voltage, equipment status, connectivity, with data sent to a server.
- IoT solutions with centralized management of the device fleet.
AB-ALERT as an example
Our product AB-ALERT is an embedded solution from start to finish. The device, based on a single-board computer with an 8-relay board and an audio output, polls the server on its own, drives relays according to configured logic, plays voice messages and has a hardware watchdog. Settings and audio clips are stored locally, so the device works even without a connection, and when the connection is lost it closes a separate fault relay.
Reliability by default
Devices for safety systems must survive power cuts, network outages and freezes. So we build in:
- hardware watchdogs that restart the device if it freezes;
- safe output states during reboots and failures;
- local configuration storage;
- communication monitoring with a separate fault signal;
- secure remote firmware updates.
From prototype to rollout
We start with a prototype and testing on a real site, then bring the solution to a stable release, document it and roll it out to as many sites as needed with centralized management.
